Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1068 of 18 May 2026 cancelling the registration of the protected designation of origin Ambt Delden (PDO) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2024/1143 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 April 2024 on geographical indications for wine, spirit drinks and agricultural products, as well as traditional specialities guaranteed and optional quality terms for agricultural products, amending Regulations (EU) No 1308/2013, (EU) 2019/787 and (EU) 2019/1753 and repealing Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 OJ L, 2024/1143, 23.4.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/1143/oj. , and in particular Article 25(2) thereof, Whereas: (1) Pursuant to Article 15(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143 in conjunction with Article 25(4) of that same Regulation, the application sent by The Netherlands on 22 October 2024 with the request to cancel the registration of the protected designation of origin (PDO) Ambt Delden, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union OJ C, C/2025/6054, 12.11.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/C/2025/6054/oj. . (2) No statement of opposition under Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143 has been received by the Commission. (3) The name Ambt Delden should therefore be cancelled from the Union register of geographical indications (4) The measure provided for in this Regulation is in accordance with the opinion of the Quality Policy Committee for agricultural products, wine and spirit drinks, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

The registration of the name Ambt Delden (PDO) is hereby cancelled.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
